The 72GB product delivering the Largest Low Profile SCSI! Ultra320 drives operate at SCSI bus data rates of up to 320 MB per second--quadruple the rate of Ultra/Wide SCSI. With Ultra160/2/3 Drives, HP NetRAID environments and applications will show immediate increases in performance. Ultra2/3 drives are sometimes referred to as LVD (low voltage differential) drives. The low voltage requirement allows integration of the differential drivers and receivers into the SCSI controller. LVD also allows for significantly longer SCSI bus cable lengths.
