Netserver Ultra2/3 SCSI hot-swap hard disk drives provide higher I/O bandwidth and can work with longer cable lengths than Ultra drives. Ultra2 drives operate at SCSI bus data rates of up to 80 MB per second--double the rate of Ultra/Wide SCSI and Ultra3 Ultra160 doubles the reat of Ultra2. With Ultra2/3 Drives, HP NetRAID environments and applications will show immediate increases in performance. Ultra2/3 drives are sometimes referred to as LVD (low voltage differential) drives.
